Kris Faatz (rhymes with skates) is a musician and award-winning writer. Her fiction collection, A Small Priceless Thing and Other Stories, was longlisted for the Santa Fe Writers Project's 2025 awards and is forthcoming in 2027. She also has two novels: Fourteen Stones and Line Magic. Kris enjoys hiking and is staff to three cats.
