Things you can buy
The magazine is free to read — no account, no paywall. Two things here are for sale: our paperback, and a coffee, if the work was worth one to you.
Women Who Burn: Stories from Neon & Smoke
Our first anthology, collected out of the magazine and put on paper.

A tip, not a subscription — everything on the site stays free either way. We are not printing a breakdown of where it goes, because we would be rounding one into shape. The habit here is to leave a number out rather than publish one we cannot show you.
What can be checked is already published: a small honorarium for accepted fiction, and rights reverting to the author on publication — both on the submissions page — and two editors, named on the masthead.
Prefer to help without spending? The ways to help page lists the free ones too. Anything else, write to neon@neonandsmoke.com.
