for Diane

Somewhere outsidetime, outsidespace.
After the wind blows away the bad parts of a bad day.
When day light rises just high enoughto bring us back to our senses,to where the end of a rainbow goes to Rapunzel down her hair,to the height of imagination to introduce music to meter to make love to rhyme,to the end of a storywe thought we knew what was about to happen next.
Beneath the cover of darkness until Scheherazade completes her story.
